The LETUS adapters are a ground-breaking 35mm lens adapter offering both quality and affordability to the independent film community. This allows filmmakers using standard and high definition digital video cameras to have complete control over depth-of-field, helping to create the much-sought after cinematic look and feel.
Adding a 35mm adapter to a camera typically results in a loss of light measuring over one full stop. But the Elite addresses this issue with prism technology, resulting in light loss of only a 1/2 of a stop. The adapter also offers additional important features until now found only on adapters costing thousands of dollars more, including the ability to flip the recorded image right side up and an adjustable back focus ring. The Elite accommodates thousands of lenses, including Nikon and Canon SLR lenses and motion picture lenses such as Cooke, LOMO, ARRI and Zeiss.

** PLEASE NOTE: Plan to have your DP/Operator/Camera Assistant bring the camera(s) in with all accessories and leave yourself an extra 30 minutes at pick-up. Due to the sensitive nature of the adapter we do the install and initial calibration. Even if you have used the adapter before you still need to bring your camera in and have a supervised install. This verifies that the adapter is returned in the same condition that it leaves in. Thanks for your understanding as this will help to keep future rental fees down for everyone.
