Visual Engineering Jib

This is a professional jib with dolly platform that is light, mobile and easy to transport making it an ideal accessory for any pro-cinematographer or film maker.

The mini jib can take up to 44 lbs. (20 kg) up front which means almost any camera/head combination can be mounted.

The length is just over 6.5 feet (2m) and collapses to 3 ft. (1m) sections, allowing for easy transport and very quick assembly. Length between pivot points is 4.9 ft. (1.5m) and from central pivot point to bowl is 5.9 ft. (1.8m).

The jib weight is approximately 15 lbs. (7kg) without counter weights. The counter weights used are standard gym weights that come with the rental. The jib can take any size camera up to 44 lbs. (20 kg) with head for usage on documentaries, music videos, feature films, commercials, corporate productions, etc. A small fine-balance counterweight is supplied which fits onto the stainless steel supporting rod.

The jib takes a standard tripod head up front but can also take an optional remote head. The bowl is universal and heads with bowls of 75mm, 100mm and 150mm can be mounted on the jib. The bowl can also be flipped and used for underslung mounting.

The materials used are top quality anodized aircraft aluminum, giving high tensile strength and no flex or play. Highest grade bearings and stainless steel shafts are used throughout. All components are CNC machined.
